Turker Inanoglu who started operating movie theaters in the 1970s with “Yumurcak”, is still active in cinema sector and keeps working with the same enthusiasm in line with his production activities. Mega A.S., established in 2003, is the product of this spirit.

Mega A.S. operates the 4-screen Sisli “Kent” Cinemas opened in 1990, the historical “Atlas” Cinemas in Beyoglu which had re-opened as a 3-screen theater after an extensive restoration, “Bogazici” Cinemas offering its services to Istanbul audience living on the Asian side of the city with its 5 halls and finally the 5-screen “TIM” Cinemas opened in 2005 within TIM – Turker Inanoglu Show Center cultural complex.

Inanoglu's latest and most prestigious project within the framework of Mega A.S. is undoubtedly the “TIM - Turker Inanoglu Maslak Show Center” opened in November 2005 in Maslak, Istanbul.

Turker Inanoglu has always enjoyed musicals, concerts and shows he watched during his foreign trips, especially in London and Broadway. He always admired the grand halls where these performances were staged and the venues designed specifically for this purpose. He asked himself: “Why shouldn’t there be such a glorious hall and a splendid music, entertainment and cultural complex in my country?” He didn’t lose any time and got down to work. Thus, TIM proudly filled a big void in Istanbul’s cultural and entertainment life as the “shining star at Maslak”.

TIM Show Center, with a 1.820-seat Grand Hall, large foyers, a 300-seat theatre hall, 5-screen movie theatre, meeting rooms, a VIP restaurant, cafés, gift shops and 600 carpark spaces, is no different than one can expect to see in western countries.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and simultaneous translation systems, the venue is stage to top quality performing arts events, local and foreign musicals, national and international meetings and conferences, movie premiers, concerts, exhibitions, company events, new product launches and contests.
